It’s more than a sling bag. Kingsons’ UV Sterilizing Bag integrates a UV-C sterilization chamber into a fully functional everyday carry bag — allowing personal items (phone, glasses, keys, earbuds, masks) to be sterilized during daily carry. A product that solves a genuine hygiene problem, engineered into a format people already use. Available for OEM/ODM production.

The bag is designed for small personal items that accumulate bacteria through daily handling: smartphones, glasses, keys, masks, earbuds, and small accessories. Items are placed inside the UV chamber compartment. The sterilization cycle runs automatically and an indicator confirms when the cycle is complete.
UV-C light disrupts the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, preventing them from reproducing. It is a chemical-free process with no residue, no consumables, and no ongoing cost to the end user. The technology is well-established in medical and industrial settings.
Our 50,000 sqm facility runs 20 automated production lines and ships to over 100 countries. Every order goes through a three-stage quality control process: incoming materials inspection, inline production checks, and pre-shipment final inspection. All structural components are tested to documented standards before any batch leaves the factory.

→ Gift & promotional solutionsUV-C germicidal efficacy is well-established in scientific literature and is the basis for UV-C disinfection systems used in hospitals, water treatment plants, and laboratory environments globally. The mechanism — UV-C radiation at 254nm causing photochemical damage to nucleic acids, preventing microbial replication — has been validated across thousands of peer-reviewed studies.
The 99.9%+ figure reflects the log-reduction performance achievable with appropriate UV-C dose (the product of irradiance and exposure time) for the common surface pathogens most relevant to personal item contamination.
For OEM clients requiring specific performance claims for their product labeling, we recommend independent testing of the finished product to generate documented efficacy data for specific organisms under their product’s actual use conditions.
The sterilization chamber is sealed during the UV-C cycle — UV-C radiation does not exit the chamber while the system is operating. UV-C at 254nm is harmful to human skin and eyes with direct exposure, which is why the chamber safety seal is a non-negotiable design requirement.
The system is designed so that opening the chamber during an active cycle automatically interrupts the cycle — a physical safety interlock prevents UV-C exposure from occurring when the chamber is accessible.
For OEM clients, the safety interlock system and its integration with the control electronics is a core part of the UV system architecture that Kingsons provides.
The UV-C sterilization system can in principle be integrated into other compact bag formats — crossbody bags, small travel pouches, compact backpacks with a dedicated sterilization compartment.
The key engineering constraints are: minimum chamber volume (approximately 15×10×5cm for effective item sterilization), integration of the LED array, control electronics, and rechargeable battery, and the safety interlock system.
The feasibility of integrating the UV system into a specific bag format is assessed case-by-case during the OEM development consultation. Contact our R&D team with your format brief.
The integrated rechargeable battery is sized to support multiple sterilization cycles on a single charge — the exact number depends on the battery capacity specified for the OEM brief.
As a reference, the current production configuration supports approximately 8–12 full sterilization cycles per charge, with USB-C recharging restoring full battery in approximately 1.5–2 hours.
For OEM clients requiring a specific cycle count or battery specification, this can be adjusted at the component sourcing stage of OEM development.
UV sterilizing bag OEM orders have a higher MOQ than standard bags due to the electronics component sourcing (UV-C LEDs, control PCB, rechargeable battery, safety interlock) and the additional testing and quality assurance required for a product with integrated electronics.
Sampling for UV sterilizing bags typically takes 14–21 business days — longer than standard bags due to the electronic component assembly and functional testing stage.
