Surface quality: Kingsons’ microfiber leather delivers leather-grade surface texture, hand feel, and visual depth through a high-density microfiber base with PU coating. Surface quality is assessed against an approved standard sample at every production run.
Batch colour consistency: Every material batch is colour-checked under D65 standard illumination against the buyer-approved production sample at incoming inspection. Material batches with colour deviation above the defined tolerance are rejected before cutting begins.
Waterproof performance: Premium microfiber leather’s inherent water resistance is verified per material batch. DWR surface treatment available for buyers requiring formal waterproof claim documentation.
Briefcase hardware — clasps, buckles, zipper pulls, handle attachments, combination locks — is the product’s most visible quality signal at point of sale. Beautiful leather with mediocre hardware fails the retail buyer’s desk inspection. Hardware that tarnishes within a season fails the end-customer’s trust.
Salt spray testing to QB/T 3826 Grade 1: All metal hardware components tested in Kingsons’ salt spray chamber. Pass threshold: zero visible surface corrosion after 24–72 hours of continuous salt spray exposure. Hardware that does not achieve Grade 1 is rejected before it reaches a production bag.
Custom hardware finishing options: Antique brass, polished silver, matte black, rose gold plating — available across all primary hardware components. Custom brand-stamped hardware with logo pressed into zip pull or clasp body available for brands requiring the hardware itself to carry brand identity.
